Activities of the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) at the University of Munster The European Research Center for Information Systems is an international network of research institutions and companies working together to further the field of information systems. This talk will overview the focuses of ERCIS at the University of Munster, specifically the research activities of the Chair for Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. An introduction into the affiliated Competence Center for Crisis Management (C³M) will also be presented. Driving Innovation in Crisis Management for European Resilience (DRIVER) DRIVER, funded by the European Commission, supports innovative solutions to crisis and disaster management. The project’s main objective is the development of a pan-European Test-Bed for Crisis Management enabling practitioners to create a space in which stakeholders can collaborate in testing and evaluating innovative solutions. The project’s methodological approach, as well as intermediate results of the ongoing project, will be presented. Adam Widera is the Managing Director of the C³M, Bernd Hellingrath is the Chair for Information Systems and Supply Chain Management and Academic Director of the C³M. |
