Description | Each quarter, select HCDE courses host end-of-quarter events to showcase student work. All members of the HCDE and UW community are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided. Course: Constructing Design Narratives (HCDE 598 Special Topics) Instructor: Adi Azulay Design is a practice that is often viewed as a problem-solving process, but the tools of design offer so much more. In this course students used the design process to ask questions and create discussion about a topic rather than solve a problem. In this showcase students exhibit speculative design, discursive design, and design fiction projects with a strong focus on storytelling, narrative, and world building. |
