| Description | Are you a new GPA? Wondering about what resources, policies, procedures, and tips are out there for graduate advisors? The UW Graduate School and GPAA are teaming up to provide a bi-annual New GPA Orientation for new GPA's who are new to their positions. This event is a "can't miss" for a new GPA at UW! The purposes of New Graduate Advisor Orientation are to: - Familiarize new advisors to on-campus departments and organizations
- Provide a conceptual overview of graduate advising in general at the UW
- Introduce new procedures and resources available to graduate advisors, and
- Establish networks within the graduate community.
