We are pleased to invite you to the Mechanical Engineering Department's Capstone Expo! Thuesday, May 30, 2:30–4:30 PM PDT Mechanical engineering undergraduates will showcase their capstone design projects through posters, prototypes, exhibits, and demos. Join students, industry mentors and sponsors, and the ME community in celebrating their hard work and achievements. We have 145 ME undergraduates spread over 41 capstone teams, including industry capstone projects, faculty-sponsored projects, student-proposed projects, and more. Over 20 of the teams are interdisciplinary and most students have been working on their projects for two quarters. The event will include awards and prizes, including the results of a photo contest and a People's Choice award. Refreshments will be provided. For parking information, please register for the event. To request parking information or accessibility accommodations, please register for the event and then email Prof. Eli Patten. Students will be setting up their exhibits between 1:45 and 2:00. Between 2:00 and 2:30 capstone students (only) will be able to view each others' projects. Doors open for all attendees at 2:30. We look forward to sharing our students progress and the amazing work they have done over the year! For more information about our capstone program, please visit our website.
