Description | Diversity in Environmental Organizations Speaker: Whitney Tome Public scholarship and public outreach is an important goal for the Center for Environmental Politics. Environmental Conversations feature prominent environmental leaders/practitioners who share their perspective on real-world environmental policymaking. This initiative will be known as “Doug and Maggie Walker Environmental Conversations” to honor the tremendous impact both Doug and Maggie have had on practical aspects of environmental policy locally, regionally, and nationally. These events will be held in the Allen Library’s Petersen Room, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The Conversations are free and open to the public, but in order to ensure enough seats are available the events are ticketed. We will release the ticket link for each event in advance so you will be able to reserve spots by clicking here. |
