Dr. Jia-Hua Lin is a senior research ergonomist with the SHARP program in Washington State Department of Labor and Industries in the USA. He is also an Affiliate Associate Professor with the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences in UW. His current research interests include technologies in human factors and ergonomics research and practices, upper extremity biomechanics, office ergonomics, and occupational safety. He currently serves as a scientific editor for the journal Applied Ergonomics. He received his doctoral and master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. The Environmental and Occupational Health Seminar (Env H 580) is a department-sponsored seminar series for students, staff and faculty; practicing professionals in the environmental and occupational health fields; and the public. This seminar highlights the rich diversity of our department and is an opportunity to hear from locally, nationally and internationally known scientists, practitioners and policymakers on issues of current scientific importance. |
