About the Speaker: Andres Cardenas, PhD is an environmental epidemiologist and faculty in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health at Stanford University. He received his MPH (2012) and PhD from Oregon State University in 2015 and completed a postdoctoral training at Harvard University. His research focuses on molecular and epigenetic biomarkers and the extent to which these alterations contribute to disease risk throughout the life course. He is also interested in the intersection of the chemical and social environments in shaping health and disease. |
