Peter Seligmann is CEO of Nia Tero, a US-based nonprofit organization established in 2017 to work in solidarity with Indigenous peoples who sustain thriving territories and cultures to strengthen guardianship of Earth and all beings. In this conversation, Peter will share his perspective on the ecosystem of environmental work and where the various communities working in biodiversity protection, climate change and Indigenous land rights and knowledge intersect. Environmental Conversations feature prominent environmental leaders/practitioners who share their perspective on real-world environmental policymaking. This initiative is named after Doug and Maggie Walker to honor the tremendous impact both they have had on practical aspects of environmental policy locally, regionally and nationally. The Conversations are free and open to the public. RSVP BELOW |
