Tuesday, Oct 10, 2023, 4 – 6 PM and Wednesday, Oct 11, 2023, 4 – 6 PM For decades scientists have been researching the physiological and psychological benefits of time spent in nature. A robust body of research shows that humans function best with regular, purposeful experiences in nature. Nature and Health is sponsoring two forest bathing workshops for UW students and staff. During these sessions, Cascadia Forest Therapy will guide our community through forest bathing practices at Washington Park Arboretum. The theme of today's conversation is "Deepening Nature/Human Connection." We will be joined by a writer and wellness coach from Body Results (outdoor conditioning coaching), Thrive Clues (health and wellness coaching, and writer for The Mountaineers.
