Many large and some small classes at UW use classroom response systems (CRS) to conduct live polls and graded quizzes, to engaged students during lecture sessions and to assess subject matter comprehension. UW is now offering Poll Everywhere as a Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) classroom response system at no charge to faculty, students or staff. In this workshop, you will practice creating and administering polling sessions, importing course lists, exporting graded response scores to the Canvas LMS, and engage with the teaching theory used most effectively with Classroom Response. |
