Description | As primary care providers we are constantly encountering a dizzying array of medication options and patient questions regarding advertised medications. We are responsible for managing complex medication regimens including treatments we may not be intimately familiar with. In addition, safety concerns and new indications for old medications arise regularly. In order to help primary care providers keep up-to-date on these issues we have organized this course on Drug Therapy. Through the use of a case-based format, the speakers will highlight innovations in drug therapies, review new indications for old medications and discuss medication side effects or drug interactions. Individual presentations will be followed by panel discussions during which participants will be able to ask questions. |
