The University of Washington Genetic Counseling Graduate Program (GCGP), in partnership with Right To Be, is proud to present, "Bystander Intervention in the Workplace," a virtual workshop, on February 28, 2023 from 3:30-5:00 PM Pacific Time. When harassment happens at work or in the classroom, people are almost always around and if they aren’t around, they can be quickly summoned to show up. Our goal is to reduce instances of harassment by giving people the tools they need to disrupt those perpetrating the harassment. You'll learn how to be an effective bystander in the midst of workplace or school harassment using our proven 5D methodology. 98% of participants leave our training committing to intervene the next time they witness disrespect or harassment at work. Right To Be has personalized this workshop for our genetic counseling community. This workshop is required for GCGP students, staff, and leadership team, and is highly recommended for faculty, site supervisors, and committee members. We hope you can join us!
