Description | Please join us for a hybrid performance-lecture by interdisciplinary artist and educator, Minoosh Zomorodinia. Born in Iran and based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Zomorodinia holds an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and is currently an affiliate artist at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Her diverse arts practice investigates the relationship between the self, technology, and the natural environment, and has been exhibited internationally in Canada, England, Finland, Iran, Mexico, Romania, and South Korea. To accompany her Pacific Northwest debut at Feast Arts Center (Tacoma, WA), Zomorodinia will interactively lead participants through her past and current works including her latest project, “Colonial Walk.” Minoosh Zomorodinia’s performance-lecture will be followed by conversation with IAS faculty members Thea Quiray Tagle and Anida Yoeu Ali.
