Description | On Wed., 2/20 at 3:30 (CMU 202), our quarterly reading group will meet to discuss James Mulholland's essay from the most recent Modern Language Quarterly, "An Indian It-Narrative and the Problem of Circulation: Reconsidering a Useful Concept for Literary Study." Most excitingly, we will be joined by Prof. Mulholland himself (virtually), as well as MLQ editor Marshall Brown and associate editor Juliet Shields, to discuss the "making of" this article. Above all, we want this discussion to be useful for you as you think about submitting your own work to journals, regardless of specialization. The publication discussion will begin at 4:30: feel free to join us for both parts, or one or the other. Please contact Matt Poland (mjpoland@uw.edu) for copies of the readings and/or more details. |
