Jason Kichen will discuss the use of Artificial intelligence (AI) in national security. AI is all the rage right now, and nowhere is its application more obvious and controversial than in national security. In areas like cybersecurity and counter-terrorism, AI has the potential to revolutionize both the offense and the defense, for both the "good guys" and the "bad guys."

Mr. Jason Kichen serves as the Director of Cybersecurity Services at Versive. Prior to Versive, Mr. Kichen had a nearly 15-year career in the US Intelligence Community as an expert in technical and offensive cyber operations. He was responsible for the design and execution of advanced technical operations all over the world, has extensive experience against hard targets, and interacted with the most senior levels of the United States government. He has two Director of National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citations and a National Intelligence Professional Award from the National Counter Proliferation Center, amongst many other awards and commendations bestowed upon him by the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and various federal contractors.
