Description | Alum Kimberly Trowbridge gives a lecture titled "Into the Garden." She is a plein-air painter, a figure painter, an installation artist, a performer, and a lecturer on color theory. Trowbridge is a current Creative Fellow at Bloedel Reserve, a 150-acre garden where she collects color “data” in the form of paintings. Her first solo museum exhibition will open in Fall 2020 at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. Trowbridge is a two-time Neddy Award Finalist (2014, 2016), and an Artist Trust GAP Grant recipient (2014). She is the Director of the Trowbridge Atelier of Painting, at Gage Academy of Art.
