| | Description | THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED This reception is for those who attend Dr. Jennifer Leeman's presentation on language attitudes and identity formation in the heritage language classroom. Her talk is part of a larger project funded in part by the Humanities Innovation Seed Grant through the Dean's office. This project explores through qualitative research how the formal study of Spanish as a heritage language shapes UW students’ attitudes towards their minoritized language and the construction of their bilingual identities. |
