Nadia Chaney is a professional poet and performer with a strong interest in musical improvisation, automatic drawing and authentic movement. She brings these all to her training and facilitation practices in an authentic style, rich with imagination and humour. Since 2002, Nadia Chaney has facilitated well over 2000 international events, workshops, and trainings. Nadia is the organizer of the Time Zone Research Lab, a community research lab that uses art-based practices to investigate the nature of Time and Temporality: www.nadiachaney.com…. from The Convergence Zone is a series of author readings, and artist talks and performances, sponsored by the MFA in Creative Writing & Poetics at the University of Washington Bothell. It brings together sometimes peaceable, sometimes combustible, fronts of discovery and experiment. This series brings to the (virtual) Seattle metropolitan area exciting writers and artists who "cross" and "trans" genres and media. It discusses and performs written arts in an expanded field.
