Post practice sit for 15 minutes of grounded meditation to gain a more expanded conscious perspective. No prior experience with yoga or meditation required. Yoga Mat or Towel is required. About Danny: Danny Arguetty, M.A., E-RYT 500, is the Mindfulness Program Manager at the University of Washington, yoga teacher (& trainer), nutrition and health counselor, wellness educator, and lover of the environment. He is the author of Nourishing the Teacher: Inquiries, Contemplations & Insights on the Path of Yoga and The 6 Qualities of Consciousness: Practical Insights from the Tantric Tradition of Yoga. Danny is passionate about supporting people and organizations to flourish through science backed mindfulness, wellness, and leadership education. He has over a decades' worth of experience in group facilitation, one-on-one coaching, curriculum development, and experiential teaching. Danny has guided workshops throughout the United States, led basic and advanced yoga trainings in the U.S. & India, and spoken at Facebook, Olson Kundig and Gravity Payments (all in Seattle). He was adjunct faculty at Williams College, leads a quarterly course on Intro to Mindfulness at UW, and is a faculty member at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. |
