Join the Whole U and yoga instructor Shauniece Drayton for a Vinyasa Yoga class at UW Bothell on August 7th from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. This class is a Vinyasa flow style utilizing progressive sequencing to build towards a peak pose that enlivens your body, mind, and spirit. Cultivate physical strength, cardiovascular health, mindful awareness, and a greater sense of overall well-being. Some experience with yoga is recommended but not required. Please bring a yoga mat and water. Shauniece was first exposed to yoga back in 2008 but started consistently practicing in 2014. Shauniece was a gymnast growing up and loved that yoga was something she could do to move her body, build strength and flexibility, and experience the world in inversions again. Through her practice, Shauniece has experienced transformational personal growth and has found tools to manage stress and anxiety by finding peace in the present moment. Shauniece is trained in Vinyasa Flow classes and completed her 200-hour yoga training in 2018. Her classes reflect her values of holistic well-being, love of essential oils, and sound healing. She likes to lead people through a mindful flow that is accessible through breath and a willingness to try new things. |
