In honor of Earth Day, skip the elevator and take the stairs! This is not only a healthy choice for you, but also for the environment. On any given day, there may be over 10,000 elevator calls on campus. Reducing the number of elevator calls reduces our energy use. Join your co-workers to reach our goal of 500,000 stairs climbed on April 22. Here’s how the challenge works: 1. Count all the stairs you walk between 6:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on April 22. 2. Record all your stairs taken and your location using a link that will be emailed to all registered participants the day before. The campus with the most staris climbed will win full bragging rights and a trophy! Seattle Campus won in 2018. Who will it be this year? 3. Encourage your coworkers to participate! 4. The total number of stairs will be emailed out and the top 25 stairs climbers will receive a Whole U Bag full of SWAG! Together we can climb our way to a healthier environment! |
