Description | Sign onto Zoom on Thursday March 30 at 5:30 p.m. and cook virtually in your own kitchens alongside UW colleagues. Learn to make delicious, healthy, authentic Mexican tortilla soup with Enterprise Spanish. Along the way, you’ll learn a bit of Spanish cooking vocabulary and some cultural history about our featured dish. This 60-minute cooking event is BYOI (Bring Your Own Ingredients). You will receive a list of ingredients a week before the event for you to purchase on your own. Recipe options are gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan friendly. No need to prep anything beforehand – we’ll do all the cooking and chopping together! This is a family friendly event, but adult supervision is required. All you need is a computer or device, a large cooking pot, a cutting board and knife, a stirring spoon, a stove, and oven. And of course, a few bowls to dish-up this tasty sopa de tortilla!
