The Whole U is thrilled to offer a virtual HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) class led by one of our discount partners, HIIT LAB. A HIIT training style targets all body parts at once through alternating strength and dynamic cardio movements at different intervals. This is a great alternative to the traditional cardio workout! The session, using only body weight as resistance, is tailored to everyone, regardless of where you are in your fitness journey. We always include a warmup and cooldown and provide different options for movements so everyone can move in a way that works best for them. About the instructor: Lena Sichelski Lena Sichelski is an instructor for HITT LAB. HIIT Lab is an interval-style strength and cardio training group fitness studio that offers classes that target the full body. HITT Lab has two locations in West Seattle and the Central District. Lena is a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer with 4+ years of experience. She is passionate about helping people feel comfortable and confident with moving their bodies in whatever form gives them joy, focusing on groups who face barriers in fitness such as women, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ members. She also enjoys baking all kinds of treats both sweet and savory, going to the movies and spending time with her cat. Registration on the Whole U Site is required to attend.
