Details | The Asian American Literature Festival is a new model of literary programming: literature meets the museum. It is a convening, engine, and incubator. It is a community-generated cooperative space with dynamic, interactive programming for sharing and growing Asian American literature. The National Postal Museum will be participating by sharing a free special limited-edition postcards featuring images from National Portrait Gallery's Anna May Wong collections opposite excerpts of newly commissioned poems by Sally Wen Mao from her book Oculus. The postcards, produced jointly by APAC and NPM, will invite attendees to send the postcards out to friends, family, and colleagues across the country. Through a partnership with Graywolf Press, the postcards will also be featured on Sally Wen Mao’s 2019 Oculus national reading tour.
