Details | Frank Rosenwein, principal oboist of the Cleveland Orchestra, joins young artists from the elite Marlboro Music Festival in a program featuring Mozart’s Oboe Quartet, K. 370; Brett Dean’s Quartet no. 2 (And Once I Played Ophelia) for soprano and strings; and Beethoven’s Quartet, op. 59, no. 1. The Marlboro Musicians collaborated with Dean on his quartet when he was composer-in-residence at the Marlboro Festival in 2017. The full ensemble includes soprano Lucy Fitz Gibbon; violinists Robyn Bollinger, David McCarroll, Stephen Tavani, and Itamar Zorman; violists Hélène Clément and Maiya Papach; and cellist Marcy Rosen.
