Details | Join Native American artists Kelly Church and Cherish Parrish as they lead you through the process of basket making. Participants will: - Learn about the significance of baskets to women in passing down their history,
- Learn about collecting and preparation of materials for basket making,
- Make a traditional black ash basket to take home,
- Discuss with expert basket makers the effects of environmental change on their traditions.
