Details | The Bearded Lady Project is a documentary film and photographic project celebrating the work of female paleontologists and highlighting the challenges and obstacles they face. Join us for a screening followed by a Q&A discussion exploring art as social commentary and the journey of women in paleontology. The conversation will be moderated by Leslie Ureña, Associate Curator of Photographs at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery. This program is part of the Challenging the Face of Science series offered in conjunction with our display of The Bearded Lady Project exhibition, on view November 14, 2019 through April 2020.
