Details | Learn more about your place in the world through explorations of nature and culture. Every second Saturday of the month, museum educators lead a program that combines a book reading, activities, and a chance to look more closely at the museum's collections. This month, families will explore the question, "How do we know what dinosaurs and other extinct animals looked like and how they behaved?" After a book reading, families will create their own wearable art and accessories inspired by the amazing characteristics prehistoric animals had that helped them survive in their environment. Location: This program is held in the Theater of the Q?rius Education Center, on the Ground Floor of the museum. Please enter through the Constitution Avenue entrance. Q?rius is located on the right as you enter the museum. Accessibility: Access services such as American Sign Language interpretation, real-time captioning (CART), or audio description are available with two-weeks advanced notice.
