The exploration of natural history doesn't have to just happen at the museum - it can happen in your home too! Join museum staff as they walk your family through science skill-building activities and ways to explore the natural world and collections. During this program, Erika Gardner from the museum’s Botany Department will show us how to create a plant press, a tool for preserving flowers, leaves and plants that you may collect while in your yard or out in your neighborhood. We’ll also talk about best practices when pressing plants, and why preserved plant collections are important to science. How to Join: The program will be presented on Zoom video.
