Librarians and Media Specialists, join the National Portrait Gallery for a professional development workshop created just for you! The librarians' job can be twofold - the curation of resources and the teaching of methods for our students to investigate those resources, in this case, portraits. Discover ways in which librarians can be guides in helping teachers and students not only access Portrait Gallery resources but utilize methods to use those resources in engaging and impactful student learning. This workshop is intended for classroom teachers. The Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants 24- 48 hours in advance of the program. Please only register for yourself. We will only be allowing participants into the meeting if their name (and email address) is on the registration list. The Portrait Gallery strives to provide programs that are accessible to all visitors. For questions, or to request accommodations such as an ASL interpreter or captioning, please email NPGAccess@si.edu. |
