The National Portrait Gallery’s Teen Museum Council (TMC) is comprised of high school students from Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia who meet weekly to engage with the Portrait Gallery’s collections and create dynamic programming for their peers. Join the TMC as they discuss some of their favorite portraits in our collection and the thinking routines and methods they suggest using in the classroom. This workshop is intended for classroom teachers. The Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants 24- 48 hours in advance of the program. Please only register for yourself. We will only be allowing participants into the meeting if their name (and email address) is on the registration list. The Portrait Gallery strives to provide programs that are accessible to all visitors. For questions, or to request accommodations such as an ASL interpreter or captioning, please email NPGAccess@si.edu. |
