| | Details | How do you engage with the sky? Join us as we discuss how astronomy and astrology as practices have a deep historical and cultural relationship, and continue to co-exist and inform each other today. These two topics also bring up tensions in how we engage with both observational science and spiritual practice as human beings. During this live, intimate conversation, participants will be encouraged to ask questions and engage in the complexities and relationships between astronomy and astrology. Join special guests and Museum experts as we explore the ways that humans make sense of the cosmos through these practices. Conversation participants: - Callie Beusman, journalist
- Jesse Shanahan, astrophysicist and machine learning specialist
- Rebecca Ljungren, Museum educator and moderator for this conversation
Live Closed Captioning will be provided for this program. |
