Join life-long educator and holistic practitioner, Iya Sophelia Carlisle, as she shares with us the urgent and emergent needs for social, cultural, and economic review of our food consumption and practices. Iya Carlisle has a B.A. in psychology, an M.A. in education and an M.A. in nursing and health education (R.N.) from Marymount University. She is licensed by the Department of Agriculture in safety and environmental remediation, Certifications: Naturopathic and Holistic Practitioner, Center for Integrated Health in Washington, DC.; and Emergency Disaster Management, FEMA. #Take Time Thursdays with the Anacostia Community Museum gives participants a chance to take time for wellness, health, and creativity with artists, thought leaders, performers, wellness practitioners and others. Take a 30-minute break with us from 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. every other Thursday and boost your mind, body and spirit. |
