It has been rescheduled for September 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Join writer, artist, and comics creator Karen Romano Young of "I Was a Kid," in an exploration of how the intersection of science and the humanities can be a powerful tool in providing pathways into environmental advocacy and leadership through capturing the histories and voices of the people engaged in efforts to steward and safeguard Earth’s eco-systems. Conversation will trace Young’s personal and professional journeys and the development of I Was A Kid a comic multimedia initiative that engages comics, audio, text, and photos to provide opportunities for youth to envision themselves in the spaces and careers essential in addressing environmental issues critical to our present and future. This will be a hybrid event, offered in person and online. In-Person Location: This program will be held in Q?rius, The Coralyn W.
