Hanieh is a broke forty-year-old woman who has been trying to make a film based on her own semi-autobiographical screenplay. On the verge of being thrown out of her apartment, she has no choice but to sell the screenplay to one of her best friends. But tensions rise when the cast and crew cast judgment on her character during rehearsals.
