This expansive biographical film explores the many facets of Baez’s life - her musical gifts, her passion for activism, her lifelong emotional struggles - creating an intimate portrait of a legendary artist. The film is co-directed by Karen O’Connor, Miri Navasky, and Maeve O’Boyle. Joan Baez and filmmaker Karen O’Connor will be in attendance to participate in a post-screening conversation moderated by The Washington Post's chief film critic, Ann Hornaday. |
