| Description | Hosted by David Hirschberg, UWT Research Scientist, The Superheroes of Science lecture series is a monthly event of RAIN, an independent 501c3 organization, and takes place at RAIN’s home base “The Wedge.” In these lectures giants in the sciences expose the work they've done and its importance, fantastic failures and lessons learned, their current work, the future of their field, and war stories from the lab. Open to the public this series brings the local science community together, serves as a platform for networking and cross-pollination within the sciences and in the community, and empowers students with the lessons that they can leverage to be successful in their given career path. |
