This event will be held on Friday, February 16th from 2:30PM-3:30 PM in TLB 307 B Presenting emerging research on the topic of classroom climate, this research utilizes the concept of Levity to explore the complexities of the classroom, and factors that impact students' perception of their instructor and their potential performance in a given course. This talk will be preceded by a talk and discussion, “From Mammies to Jezebels: An Exploration of Black Identity, Colorism and Media Representation," sponsored by the Office of Equity and Inclusion and SBHS and SAM (SIAS) from 12:30-2:30 PM in TLB307b.
