- Bring copies of your resume.
- Dress appropriately (on the dressier side of business casual).
- Practice introducing yourself so it feels more natural to you before you participate in the career fair (shake hands, make eye contact, determine what you will briefly say about yourself).
- Prospective employers will ask about related experience, knowledge, and why you're interested in their company. Practice answering these questions and do some research ahead of time on your companies of interest.
- Contact the Career Development Center for help with your resume, LinkedIn profile, tips for navigating the career fair, and assistance with crafting the perfect 30 second bio.
