Come to this hands-on workshop for ideas on how to get started on your Gilman essays and to learn about revision strategies. What Is It: The Gilman is a merit-based scholarship for Pell grant recipients who plan to study or intern abroad. Students must receive credit for the study or internship abroad and must spend at least 28 days in one country. The Gilman prefers non-traditional study and internship destinations and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Eligibility Applicants must be: • U.S. citizens, • Undergraduate students, • Pell grant recipients who plan to study or intern abroad. Deadline The next deadline is March 5, 2019 (for summer 2019, fall 2019, and academic year 2019-2020).
