Join ISSS for a day of sailing on Lake Union in Seattle! Every Sunday, the Center for Wooden Boats offers free public sailing events on Lake Union in Seattle. It's a great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather, meet other international students and scholars, and try a new activity! In addition to sailing on the lake, we'll also explore the museum to learn about sailing and explore South Lake Union. The group will meet at UW Tacoma and travel together to Seattle. The cost of the trip is free, but students should bring money for lunch and consider a small tip ($1-2) to the Center for Wooden Boats. Sign up by Wednesday, May 15 by emailing uwtiss@uw.edu. |
