Peaceful Training Run Club (PTRC) is based on the philosophy that we don’t just run, we train. We train to become more knowledgable runners and in the process we train to become happier, healthier and more peaceful human beings. All fitness levels are welcome. Please wear workout clothes and running shoes, and bring a water bottle and sweat towel. At a young age he began to learn the art of transcendental meditation which he later applied to his athletic endeavors as a collegiate (Georgetown University) and professional (Nike) runner. In 2010, he retired from professional running to found Peaceful Training to bring the combination of inner disciplines, such as breathing and meditation exercises, and outer fitness, such as cardiovascular work and strength training, to help others improve their physical and mental health. We are excited to host Kal and train with him! |
