Jessie Rehms: Jessie is a Staff Attorney at the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) in Tacoma, Washington where she primarily represents individuals detained at the Northwest Detention Center. She provides removal defense for recent arrivals seeking asylum and non-citizens eligible for certain types of statutory relief. Jessie is a graduate of the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Bill Schwarz: Bill is the Pro Bono Coordinator for the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) in Tacoma, Washington. He provides mentorship and training to assist volunteer attorneys in representing individuals detained at the Northwest Detention Center. In addition, as a DOJ accredited representative, he represents clients in removal defense matters including asylum, cancellation of removal and other forms of statutory relief. Bill speaks both English and Spanish. |
