Moving our bodies for the benefit of our hearts and minds doesn't have to be a chore. In this training, we will explore concepts of movement from the perspectives of psychology, neuroscience, and biology to understand why what many consider “just exercise” in fact dramatically improves mental and physical and well-being. We will look in particular at the benefits of collective movement, or any movement done in a social space, which can increase our capacity for social connection, self-expression, and resilience.
