American music masters Sam Bush (mandolin/violin), Mike Marshall (mandolin) and Edgar Meyer (bass) join with George Meyer (violin) bring the bluegrass festival to the concert stage in this special collaboration. Bush and Marshall are mandolin virtuosos rooted in bluegrass. The Meyers come from the classical world, with Edgar’s son George representing a new generation of artists. You’ll hear works from the 1999 genre-bending album Short Trip Home (which featured Bush, Marshall, and the elder Meyer), plus new music written specifically for this tour.
