Are you interested in career diversity and learning about what opportunities exist for graduate students in K-12 education? Do you want to learn more about how to communicate with public and/or non-specialist audiences? This session, led by Professors for the Future Fellow Daniel Castaneda, will address considerations of scholarly communication outside of the university and teach participants more about the landscape of K-12 education in the State of California. This is the first of three workshops, which will connect graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to the California Subject Matter Project (CSMP), which connects K–12 teachers and university faculty to improve K–12 instruction.
