An 8-Week Expressive Arts Series for Cancer Patients
Every Friday from April 3rd to May 22nd

The group is open to individuals with, or recovering from cancer, and caregivers. Children should not attend. No previous art experience is necessary.

'Metaphors from Nature‘: Awareness, Self-expression, Wisdom, Nurturing, and Healing

Keeping Nature as a connecting thread, we’ll be playing and learning together, adding an artful dimension, and embodied mindful awareness for personal self-exploration and self-expression. Spending time in nature, even just looking out the window or enjoying breathing fresh air, walking in a park or barefoot on the beach reminds us that we belong to nature.
Art can help us relax, find joy in playing and exploring, find a mindful focus, help express our thoughts and feelings, and can help us reflect, generate purpose, new ideas and choices, and support our decision making. Natural materials are source of great creative inspiration!
The symbolic quality of art making helps to view the changes as part of life’s journey and to create a sense of meaning and control over the circumstances that lie ahead. We encourage you to participate in all sessions within a particular series; however, we understand that you might miss sessions or join once the series is already underway due to priorities in your care.

Registration is required and participation in all or most sessions is recommended to experience all the benefits.

Meditation Techniques Instructional Course 2026

Pancreas Cancer Support Group 2026

A pancreas cancer diagnosis can spark fear and anxiety in many and can leave some feeling unsure about where to turn for support. This support group is for anyone navigating the complexities of pancreas cancer, from the time of diagnosis through all phases of care. This is a space for patients and loved ones to come together to gain emotional and practical support.

The first Monday of the month will focus on newly diagnosed patients
The third Monday of the month will be focused on patients navigating life beyond the initial diagnosis phase and who may be past the start of treatment and/or surgery

A pancreas cancer diagnosis can spark fear and anxiety in many and can leave some feeling unsure about where to turn for support. This support group is for anyone navigating the complexities of pancreas cancer, from the time of diagnosis through all phases of care. This is a space for patients and loved ones to come together to gain emotional and practical support.

The first Monday of the month will focus on newly diagnosed patients
The third Monday of the month will be focused on patients navigating life beyond the initial diagnosis phase and who may be past the start of treatment and/or surgery

Meditation Techniques Instructional Course 2026

Two hour training course resulting in a 20 minute meditation practice. This meditation practice is a powerful way to reconnect with our inner self and experience the universal love and peace that is our true nature. A pancreas cancer diagnosis can spark fear and anxiety in many and can leave some feeling unsure about where to turn for support. This support group is for anyone navigating the complexities of pancreas cancer, from the time of diagnosis through all phases of care. Our support group is led by experienced lactation consultants who will present different topics and foster an environment where breastfeeding parents can share their experiences and ask questions. Pancreas Cancer Support Group 2026

A pancreas cancer diagnosis can spark fear and anxiety in many and can leave some feeling unsure about where to turn for support. This support group is for anyone navigating the complexities of pancreas cancer, from the time of diagnosis through all phases of care. This is a space for patients and loved ones to come together to gain emotional and practical support.

The first Monday of the month will focus on newly diagnosed patients
The third Monday of the month will be focused on patients navigating life beyond the initial diagnosis phase and who may be past the start of treatment and/or surgery
