Before the concert, attendees can enjoy a 5 p.m. reception featuring engaging hands-on science experiences and a science art exhibit.&lt;br /&gt;The event will also honor the retirement of longtime director Dr. Louisa Stark, whose leadership helped shape the Center&amp;#8217;s far-reaching impact in science education. It will also formally announce the Center&amp;#8217;s new name &amp;#8212; The Stark Science Learning Center (SSLC) &amp;#8212; in recognition of Dr. Stark&amp;#8217;s extraordinary contributions to the Center.&lt;br /&gt;Tickets are now available at&amp;#160;&lt;a href="http://sslc.utah.edu/gala" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="http://sslc.utah.edu/gala"&gt;sslc.utah.edu&amp;#8230;&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;#8220;The legacy of the GSLC&amp;#8212;now SSLC&amp;#8212;is one of excellence in science education.
