VIRTUOSO CONCERT SERIES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE SCHOOL OF MUSIC 

For 20 years and counting, Sō Percussion has redefined chamber music for the 21st century through an “exhilarating blend of precision and anarchy, rigor and bedlam” -The New Yorker. Their 2024 Album, Rectangles and Circumstance, won the group their first Grammy Award. Their commitment to the creation and amplification of new work have made them a trusted partner for composers, allowing the writing of music that expands the style and capacity of brilliant voices of our time.

Their concert will feature new quartets by Grammy-winning Bryce Dessner of The National and Pulitzer and Grammy-winning Caroline Shaw, which you can experience in SLC ahead of their performance at Carnegie Hall later in January!
