Then continue the celebration at the AAPI Community Marketplace (3–6 p.m.) featuring local businesses, live performances, and great food. All are welcome.

Join ALPFA for the 2026 ALPFA National Convention from August 9 to August 13. At the convention, you will have many opportunities to network with students, professionals, and recruiters from major companies and cities! This meeting is to go over logistical aspects of traveling, housing etc.

Build your own lo-fi digital camera for lomography! This project combines soldering, 3D printing, and simple coding to create a customizable digital camera. Learn to assemble electronic components and explore creative modifications. Space and supplies are available on a first-come, first-served basis. No experience needed.

 Make a personalized laser-cut light switch cover! Design your pattern in Adobe Illustrator, then learn how to laser cut it into wood or acrylic. You’ll gain experience with digital design tools and precision cutting. A laptop with Illustrator installed is required (students can access a free license through the library). Space and supplies are available on a first-come, first-served basis. No experience needed.

 The culmination of a year's worth of hard work, join us for the 16th annual Bench to Bedside Competition Night! Alongside family and friends, student teams will showcase their projects in a gala-style event, meeting with competition judges, health care professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and University of Utah leadership. After an evening of networking and celebration, we’ll announce the winners of the competition and send the winning teams home with nearly $100,000 in milestone funding!

Learn some quick and easy tips for improving your photography by attending this workshop. We'll be joined by an experienced photographer to show us how to take better pictures for professional and personal purposes. Bring your camera to follow along or just attend ready to learn and ask questions.
